Lydian Blueprint in G Minor – Improvisation

I share my piano improvisation recordings here as a journey in raw, musical self-expression, and I invite you to listen to these snapshots of my internal world; the technical notes are extras for those who wish to explore the music theory further.

This is an improvisation in a blues/jazz ballad style. I have called it Lydian Blueprint because it uses shades of the Lydian mode in certain sections (as chord-scale pairings), and it is based on a chord progression I came up with last night, which is the framework for my improvisation using blues melodies (hence the “blueprint”).
